Tasting

In the twelfth century, Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine turned our region into an English province. The Bordeaux wine was then sent to England after only a few months of fermentation to face the developing demand. This resulted in a lack of structure and a very clear colour. The latter was even taken as a reference by our British friends to call this wine “claret”. The term is still used today across the Channel to talk about a fine Bordeaux wine.

Today, Bordeaux reinvents this “claret” making it pleasant, fresh and fruity. Produced like a rosé wine, our Bordeaux Clairet  is soft and round on the palate with an aromatic intensity making it the perfect chilled wine for barbecues or aperitifs!
