Tasting

A wine of EXCELLENCE

Born after a barrel tasting: destinated to be blended with the rest of our barrels like we normally do for the Heritage cuvée, we decided  to just leave it as it was, on its own. It became our very small cuvee of prestige, of excellence!

The barrel used during the ageing is very special: high heated, fine grains and dryer wood for a wine of no equivalence in our range. Its bouquet reveals high aromas of leather, vanilla and ripe prunes, and hints of undergrowth. Silky and charming on the palate, it gains a very long and rich finish which lingers through a well balanced acidity on the back palate. A great  wine to share now and for 15 years.

FOODMATCH
A great wine for great occasion on nice grilled meat, game, spicy dishes or dark dessert chocolate cakes.
